Have you ever wondered if your email or password has been compromised? Have I Been Pwned
is a free tool that checks your email or password against known data breaches. Just enter your
information, and the main information the site will tell you includes:
• Which data breach did it appear in
• The date of the breach
• What information was exposed from this breach (e.g., names, passwords, phone numbers,
etc)
It’s quick, easy to use, and provides recommended steps to take if your information was
compromised, making it a great resource, even for non-technical users.
If your data appears in a breach, change your password immediately and enable MultiFactor Authentication (MFA).
